Course Summary
This is the first of a series of webinars related to starting a theranostics program. It will provide an introductory, high-level overview of the requirements for starting a program.  While it will allude to clinical knowledge for the practice of theranostics, the presentation will emphasize other, practical, logistical and regulatory matters.  The intended audience comprises primarily nuclear medicine physicians, nuclear radiologists, nuclear medicine technologists, health physicists, and nurses practicing in the community.  Since much if not most of nuclear medicine is practiced outside of academic centers where theranostics are developed, there is a need for sharing the practical knowledge required to start theranostics programs and provide access to such advanced treatments to patients closer to home.  The expected outcome is that attendees will have a greater understanding of all of the requirements for starting and sustaining a theranostics program.  

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Describe resources and logistics for a theranostics clinic.
2. Discuss regulatory issues related to theranostics.
3. Discuss the clinical knowledge needed for theranostics.
